What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is kinda like a lay-by service, which allows flexible payment plans for your online purchases. Purchase your items online today and pay them off after delivered, in four equal instalments, due every two weeks.
What do I need to use Afterpay?
- An Australian residential address.
- A valid credit or debit card.
- Aged over 18 years old.
How does Afterpay work?
- Add item(s) to the shopping bag (up to the value of $1000 AUD).
- At checkout, select Afterpay as your preferred payment method. Here you will be redirected to the Afterpay website.
- Register or log in to your Afterpay account and confirm the payment.
When will my goods be delivered if I choose Afterpay?
Afterpay orders are delivered as per regular Standard delivery timeframes after you complete your order online. Free shipping is available on standard delivery orders Australia-wide.
How does the payment schedule work?
All new Afterpay customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted automatically each fortnight over the remaining 6 weeks. After the first purchase transaction, each further payment will be debited exactly 14 days later, unless voluntary payments are made.
At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. If you do not log in and make a payment, Afterpay will automatically deduct the installments from your debit or credit card each fortnight.
How do I refund an item purchased with Afterpay?
Returns are accepted as per the standard refund policy. Once your goods have been received, we will notify Afterpay and any further payments will be cancelled. If one or more payments have already been made, the total amount paid will be refunded to the card that was used to place the order.
Afterpay processes the refund immediately and sends you an email to confirm that the refund has been applied. Depending on the bank, it may take 48 hours or more for the refund to be completed.
Is interest charged on the Afterpay purchase?
Interest is not charged on Afterpay purchases. The only interest that may be charged is related to use of a credit card, which will be subject to your individual agreement with your financial institution. Please refer to your card issuer’s terms and conditions for full details.
